On Monday May 30, 2005 Pem Dorjee and Moni Mulepati were married in a brief 10 minute ceremony atop the 29,035 foot Mt. Everest. Pem was completing his second summit of the mountain and Moni was the first non-Sherpa Nepalese woman to summit the peak. Pem will share his photos of Nepal, his village of Chyangba and images while climbing Mt. Everest. Pem was first involved in climbing Mt. Everest in 2004 and has since been on 4 climbs including the two summits. Pem describes his village as being about a 1 day walk from the only airport in the area and about a 7 day walk from Mt. Everest. There are no roads in the area.
