EVERGREEN LIBRARY PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBIT – JUNE, 2013
Announcement:
Hi all,
Don’t forget, ECC has the wall in the Evergreen library reserved for June. I expect nearly everyone in the club has some photos worthy of exhibiting. Nearly any subject matter is fine, and we would like a variety. We’d ideally like to have 30 members bring 3 photos each, but I suppose it will be more like 12 people with 6 photos each. Even if you have only one photo you would like to show, please do.

Hi all,
Don’t forget, ECC has the wall in the Evergreen library reserved for June.
I would like 2 or 3 volunteers to help me hang photos on Saturday, June 1, tentatively at 9:30 a.m. (possibly 10:00). Please let me know if you’d like to help. It will probably take about 2 hours.
I also need to arrange for you to get photos to me before that date. The club meeting at our regular time on May 22 would be a good time. I will try to be there, and strongly encourage you to bring your photos then. Otherwise please contact me about other possible delivery arrangements.
Ideal mounts are on foam board so they can be hung with adhesive Velcro. I say ideal because those are lightweight, rigid and cheap. However, other mounting methods can be used, and framed photos can also be hung. If you have not done this before and have questions, please let me know, and please come to the May 22 meeting if you can.
Prints can be made for under $2 at Costco and probably elsewhere, and mounting is not hard. 8×10 inches is pretty much the minimum size to show well without getting lost in the exhibit, though an eye catching subject could be a bit smaller.
Thanks,
Jim Peterson
