EVERGREEN CAMERA CLUB FIELD TRIP

LOCATION: BOSQUE DEL APACHE NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE, SOCORRO, NM

Bosque is a straight shot down I-25 and about an hour south of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

DATE: Friday, February 14th through the weekend. This is Presidents weekend, so many of you will have Monday off.

TIME: If you leave early enough you may make it in time for the Friday night shoot. Its an 8-9 hour drive.

HOTEL: I spoke with the Comfort Inn (exit 150 on I-25), same hotel as the last trip, and they have rooms available for the above dates. The hotel is located right off I-25 in Socorro, New Mexico. Phone number 575-838-4200. There are several other hotels in Socorro, I am not promoting Comfort Inn. It is just the hotel we have used on past trips without any problems.

The hotel is about 15 minutes from Bosque (exit 139 on I-25). You will want to be at the site before sun-up and before sun-down to set up your tripods. In that the refuge is located in the bottom lands of the Rio Grande River, dress warm.
