We have an opportunity for a cool outing and to support the Foothills Animal Shelter by using our talents to capture images of their animals for their website. Great cause and opportunity for all who participate.

Foothills Animal Shelter is conveniently located off of 6th Avenue (HWY-6) and Indiana Street, on the Jefferson County Fairgrounds. Take the Indiana Street exit south off of 6th Avenue, then head west on the W 6th Avenue Service Road. Pass the Fairgrounds entrance, and head south onto McIntyre Street.

MARCH 27 TIPS & TECHNIQUE MEETING-BERGEN PARK FIRE STATION 7pm(6:30 SOCIAL TIME):BASIC FEATURES & FUNCTIONS OF DIGITAL CAMERAS
Our presenter for the March 27th Tips & Techniques meeting is John Daniels. John is a Sales Associate / Teacher for Mike’s Camera. He has experience as a newspaper photographer and has done freelance photography. John has agreed to do a seminar on the basic features and functions of digital cameras. Both Point and Shoot cameras and Digital SLR cameras are included in the seminar. This class is not brand specific.
This class will be a great way to learn more about fundamental features of your camera. You are encouraged to bring your camera and instruction manual to this meeting.
APRIL 24 TIPS AND TECHNIQUES MEETING – BERGEN PARK FIRE STATION 7:00pm (6:30pm social time) PHOTOSHOP CLASS
We have a Photoshop instructor, John Harris. One of his current roles is Information Technology Director at Reed Imaging. This will be a fee-based class at $35 lasting approximately 3 hours. John would like to base his instruction in Photoshop with ECC member images. If you opt to take this class, you may submit one of your untouched images that has been a challenge for you with question(s) that he may use in his Photoshop instruction. We will set up a way for you to submit your image to him soon. This class will be at the Evergreen Fire Administration Building.

Vivian Keulards is a portrait photographer, born and raised in the Netherlands and currently living in Evergreen (Colorado), where she works on several projects. In 2009 she succesfully graduated at the Photo Academy in Amsterdam.
Her fascination for images and photography started at the KUN University (Nijmegen, Netherlands) where she gained a Master Degree in Communication Science in 1995.
She also participated in inspiring Masterclasses of Carl de Keyzer, Rob Hornstra and more.

A long time resident of Colorado, Steve Goodman has been photographing the world’s animals and birds for more than thirty years.
