Title: Yellowstone in Winter: When Fire Meets Ice

Title: Yellowstone in Winter: When Fire Meets Ice
Description: Winter is when Yellowstone National Park is the least visited, but for many it is considered the most beautiful season in our nation’s first national park. Yellowstone typically sees the coldest temperatures in the U.S during the winter, and these cold temps mixed with the warm air of the thermals create unique scenes ideal for photography. Dawn Wilson, professional and award-winning wildlife photographer, will present about what to photograph in Yellowstone in winter, how to keep your gear and yourself safe in the cold temps, and how to come away from the park in winter with stunning photos. Included will be a short presentation on Dawn’s lottery draw trip to the MacNeil River, Alaska, to photograph Alaskan brown bears.
