September 23rd 2026 Tip & Techniques: Where to Photograph Fall Foliage

Everyone in Colorado knows the place to shoot great fall aspen is Kenosha Pass, right? ….Not!

The reality is when leaf peeping starts, the one place you don’t want to be is waiting in traffic on your way out of Georgetown to get a view of the changing colors. The fact is, our mountains have thousands of beautiful passes, hill sides and valleys filled with fall splendor.

For this T&T, ECC members will discuss their favorite haunts for getting great fall shots.

September 23rd Contest and Critique:

The Theme for September’s Contest is Fall Colors.
To enter your images, log in and go to the Contest Entry webpage using the link below or from the Contest tab (you must be logged in to upload).

Images must be entered by 6 p.m. the Tuesday before the meeting (4th Tuesday of the month): Now Accepting Entries until September 22nd.

Images will be judged in person at the Center for the Arts Evergreen and shown on zoom.
