The mission of the Evergreen Camera Club is to promote the art of photography for people living in and around the foothills of Colorado by providing a forum where each member can contribute and learn from others.
We meet twice monthly, on the second Wednesday of each month for our General Meeting and on the fourth Wednesday for a Tips and Techniques get-together.
- General Meetings comprise a guest speaker presentation followed by our monthly member photo contest with anonymous critique by the speaker.
- Tips and Techniques (T & T) meetings are typically more hands-on and cover topics of interest to members, such as cleaning your camera sensor, using LightRoom, and how to prepare your photos for display.
We meet at the Bergen Park Fire and Rescue Auditorium, 1802 Bergen Parkway, Evergreen, CO 80439.
In December, Evergreen Camera Club hosts a year-end dinner and competition judged by an outside expert. This well-attended event features fun, comradery, and the chance to win prizes, including Best Image of the Year.
We host several workshops, field trips and special presentations throughout the year. Paid ECC members get preference (and usually discounts) for these events.
