BUTTERFLY PAVILION FIELD TRIP APRIL 16, 2011 7:45AM-9;00AM

We have another unique photography event scheduled for April 16, 2011. We have an opportunity for a private, tripod session at the Butterfly Pavilion. We will be able to use tripods from 7:45 -9:00. At 9:00, the public will be invited in and we will be required to adhere to normal visiting restrictions of no tripods, we will be able to use monopods or hand held only. The cost for this event is $15.00 and must be prepaid. I have included the email from Marcos which includes the information for prepayment.

Bob Dean is a freelance nature and wildlife photographer. With his wife Nadine, he has been photographing the natural world for over 35 years. Their stock file has nearly 10,000 images ranging from Alaska to Australia to Europe.

They have published many images and articles in magazines and newsletters including F8 and Being There, Falcon and Wild Outdoor World. Bob was an assistant editor and featured photographer for First Light Monthly Newsletter for Nature Photographers for over three years.

Amy Johnson has been an avid photographer since she bought her first SLR
camera in 1978. Her passion is portrait photography and she has been
running Amy Johnson Photography (previously Kids Being Kids Portraits) since
2004. Amy’s specialty is children’s photography for which she has developed
numerous tips and pointers to share. You can see examples of Amy’s work
in the Buchanan and Wulf Recreation Centers and on her website,
www.amyphoto.com.

Bob Smith is a well known nature photographer and instructor. After spending 15 years with Apple, Inc in marketing and technical roles, he moved to Jackson WY as the Director of Mangelsen Stock Images. Bob has been an instructor at Rich Clarkson’s Photography at the Summit workshops for the past 10 years. He has been the photography instructor for Lindblad Expeditions on trips to Svalbard, Alaska, Galapagos, Antarctica, and the British Isles. He has also been an instructor for Santa Fe Workshops and leads his own workshops to Alaska, Botswana, and Canada.
