Bob Dean is a freelance nature and wildlife photographer. With his wife Nadine, he has been photographing the natural world for over 35 years. Their stock file has nearly 10,000 images ranging from Alaska to Australia to Europe.
They have published many images and articles in magazines and newsletters including F8 and Being There, Falcon and Wild Outdoor World. Bob was an assistant editor and featured photographer for First Light Monthly Newsletter for Nature Photographers for over three years.
Our speaker is going to be speaking on children’s portraits so you are encouraged to enter portraits of children but portraits of adults and animals will also be accepted.

camera in 1978. Her passion is portrait photography and she has been
running Amy Johnson Photography (previously Kids Being Kids Portraits) since
2004. Amy’s specialty is children’s photography for which she has developed

One Photo per Email. Photos no larger than 5 mb. Please do not send as an embedded image. Send as an e-mail attachment. Maximum of three submissions per member in any combination of Theme or Open category. Include your name, Division (A = Experienced, I = Intermediate or B = Beginner) and category (Theme or Open) in the subject line of your email.

Bob Smith is a well known nature photographer and instructor. After spending 15 years with Apple, Inc in marketing and technical roles, he moved to Jackson WY as the Director of Mangelsen Stock Images. Bob has been an instructor at Rich Clarkson’s Photography at the Summit workshops for the past 10 years. He has been the photography instructor for Lindblad Expeditions on trips to Svalbard, Alaska, Galapagos, Antarctica, and the British Isles. He has also been an instructor for Santa Fe Workshops and leads his own workshops to Alaska, Botswana, and Canada.

The January T&T meeting will be on the Wednesday the 26th. The presenters will be Pete Marks and Bill Vogel. The subject will be begining Photoshop and Photoshop Elements. I would suggest that those members who have either program on their notebook computers, bring them to the session.
Due to the length of John Fielder’s presentation, there will be no contest for the January meeting.

The site for the Christmas party on December 8th has been changed. The new location is the Tuscany Tavern 32214 Ellingwood Trail in Evergreen (right by the Buchanan Park Rec Center). In 1981 he founded Westcliffe Publishers, one of the nation’s largest publishers of nature books and calendars. A former department store executive who turned an avocation into a career, he is the photographer of 39 exhibit format books, guidebooks, and children’s books, most about his adopted state of Colorado.
