Using technique, composition and simple editing to make your snapshots into winners.
Stan Hill will share many examples of taking an average shot and making it a winning shot. Using location planning, knowledge of animal behavior & environmental factors, along with capture techniques to “get the shot”. Then using some basic editing to further improve the image to change the original Zero to a Hero.

GENE TEWKSBURY will be speaking on travel photography. Gene says:
My presentation’s focus is on the hows/whys of travel photography (Asia specific).
Topics like dealing with cultural issues, finding unique photos, using an editorial method, how to get natural/candid imagery from locals, working with local fixers, avoiding legal trouble, things like that.
Photography instruction would be focused on working with the environment to your advantage and if asked, questions from the audience about how a particular image was captured.
