SATURDAY, NOV. 19, 2011 ANNUAL FIELD TRIP TO PHOTOGRAPH BIGHORN SHEEP

by ecc

Bighorn Sheep Field Trip Scheduled Saturday, Nov. 19

This will be our 4th annual Field Trip to photograph Bighorn Sheep in the rut. As in past years we will meet at Starbucks along I-70 at Downieville and break into groups of 10 or so to drive to the best viewing locations. I will be scouting to map the prime locations Friday morning so we’ll have a fair idea where to find the animals on Saturday.

Here’s the tentative Plan for Saturday:

• Meet for coffee at approx. 6:30 AM at Starbucks I-70 at Downieville; leave Starbucks in 2-3 groups by approx. 7:00 AM.

EVERGREEN CAMERA CLUB DISPLAY AT EVERGREEN LIBRARY IN OCTOBER

by ecc

The Evergreen Camera Club has the exhibition wall in the Evergreen Library reserved for displaying our photographs in the month of October. This is a large space, and can easily hold 60-100 photos, depending on size and arrangement, so there is room for EVERYONE to show some of their work. Nearly everyone in the club has taken some photos good enough to exhibit, so don’t think yours are not good enough. Just pick your best, and/or most interesting. Any subject (suitable for viewing in a public library, that is) is fine. We will have no theme.
